• Over the past twenty years we have been investing in AutoCAD vertical specialized toolsets to help make AutoCAD as personalized an experience as possible. When you subscribe to AutoCAD 2019, you gain access to all the capabilities of the industry-specific toolsets and libraries including Mechanical, Architecture, Electrical, MEP, and more. No matter the design challenge, you’ll always have the right tool at hand.
  • When you subscribe to AutoCAD including specialized toolsets, you gain access to features and functionality that help you work faster and more efficiently than ever before.
  • You can design more quickly with industry-specific capabilities that allow you to access to libraries of symbols, parts and detail components. You can work faster by automating the creation of annotations, layers, and properties. You can be more efficient by extending workflows across disciplines more effectively.
  • And you can do all of this while working in the familiar AutoCAD interface.
  • Now let’s take a look at each of the toolsets.
  • Now you may be thinking what is the value of these toolsets?
  • In this simple example, you can see how a specialized toolset gives you a head start and how many fewer steps it takes (in this case 5 steps down to 3) to create a wall in the architecture toolset vs. AutoCAD.
  • Imagine how that adds up over time. That’s real value.  Having access to specialized toolsets will help you work faster and be more efficient.
  • AutoCAD is everywhere. Whether you choose to use AutoCAD for windows, AutoCAD for Mac or AutoCAD on a mobile device – be it an ipad, iphone, android or windows device, we have the right AutoCAD for you. You can enjoy a cohesive experience across various platforms.
  • Powerful web and mobile apps enable you to take your work anywhere and have peace of mind that AutoCAD will be there for you.
  • AutoCAD subscriptions include access to the all new web app and enhanced mobile app that enable you to work with any DWG with AutoCAD on any platform.
  • Extend your workflows with the ability to edit, annotate, view, and create your DWGs in the web and mobile apps. Rely on the AutoCAD web and mobile apps to deliver familiar, powerful tools and reach your peak productivity instantly.
  • This year we are proud to introduce the all new AutoCAD web application, and I’d like to run through some of the benefits of the app now.
  • New to the AutoCAD family of products, the AutoCAD web app gives you quick, anytime access to the latest plans.
  • With the AutoCAD web app there’s nothing to download — just type in web.autocad.com and login to start working. You get core 2D drafting and annotation commands so you can complete your work while at home, or at the client’s site. We built the AutoCAD web app from the ground up. With the original AutoCAD’s engine at its core, you get the precision, consistency, and fidelity you’ve come to expect from AutoCAD.
  • You also get core AutoCAD commands, so you can get up to speed quickly and be productive with very little learning or training.
  • Designed specifically for users working onsite, our mobile app has adapted many of the traditional desktop AutoCAD tools, and developed new mobile-only tools to extend the power of AutoCAD to mobile.
  • With the AutoCAD mobile app, you can take your work to the field and even offline.
  • In addition to core 2D drafting tools, extend your workflow to the field by adding laser measurements or photos directly to your DWG. On devices like iPad Pro and Windows Surface, the mobile app takes advantage of the high-resolution display and supports the stylus for more precise drafting, editing, and annotations.
  • In order to enable better desktop, web and mobile workflows, you’ll notice we’ve added functionality to AutoCAD desktop to better access DWG files while on the go.
  • Within the ‘Application Menu’ within ‘Save As’ you’ll see a new ‘Drawing to Web and Mobile’ option. This takes the current DWG you are working on and allows the user to be able to access from their web and mobile applications. Additionally, you’ll see in the ‘Open’ tab the ’Drawing from Web & Mobile’ option. This opens a drawing that has previously been accessed in web or mobile.
  • Let’s start with what we have added to the core functionality. We heard from our customers that you wanted to be able to manage changes between drawing or XRef revisions. So we’ve have added DWG Compare, which overlays two drawings and highlights the differences between them. This makes it easy to review and understand what parts of the drawings have changed.
  • With your AutoCAD 2019 subscription, you get access to support specialists, the latest updates, flexible term lengths and administrative tools to easily manage your licenses, seats and usage. Plus, you can use your software anytime, anywhere.
  • Get technical support, including support specialists and remote assistance, and access our online support resources. Your software is always up-to-date with the latest features. We offer flexible term lengths, from one month to multiple years, to fit your needs. And, we make it easy for you to manage your licenses.
